Job summary

Detroit Engineered Products (DEP) in Chennai seeks a capable professional to deliver end-to-end automation using Excel VBA, Power BI, Power Automate, Qliksense, Alteryx, GCP, BigQuery and Python. You will handle development tasks from requirements to deployment while optimizing VBA code and building dashboards.

Strong communication, cross-functional collaboration and time-zone flexibility are essential; automotive OEM exposure is a plus. This role expects proactive teamwork across global units.

Qualifications

• Capable to handle development tasks individually from requirement through analysis, development, testing and deployment.
• Expertise in writing, debugging, error handling and optimizing VBA code (Objects, Methods and Events).
• Proficient with Excel macros and VBA including charts, pivot tables, complex formulas, user forms and data handling.
• Report creation, dashboard development and macros.
• Ability to identify issues, solve problems and propose solutions.
• Interacting with other applications (SharePoint, PowerPoint and Outlook).
• Flexible to work across time zones and diverse cultures.
• A strong desire to collaborate and work within a team.
