NEWAGE TECH SOLUTION PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking an experienced specialist to design, implement, and maintain advanced Excel automation solutions.

You will develop VBA macros, UDFs, forms, and automated reporting tools for diverse business functions, ensuring scalable and maintainable processes.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain advanced Excel automation solutions including VBA macros, user-defined functions, custom forms, and automated reporting tools for diverse business functions
• Build and maintain complex Excel formula frameworks using advanced functions including INDEX MATCH, XLOOKUP, dynamic arrays, LAMBDA functions, and nested conditional formulas
• Develop and manage Power Query data transformation workflows for automating data extraction, cleansing, consolidation, and loading from multiple internal and external data sources
• Build and maintain automated MIS dashboards, management reports, and operational scorecards using Excel and Power BI with scheduled data refresh and dynamic filtering capabilities
• Collaborate with operations, finance, HR, sales, and other business teams to understand reporting requirements and translate them into efficient and maintainable Excel automation solutions
• Identify and automate repetitive manual reporting, data processing, and reconciliation tasks across business functions to improve team productivity and reduce error rates
• Conduct Excel automation testing including unit testing, user acceptance testing, and regression testing to ensure automation solutions function accurately and reliably
• Train and support end users and business teams on developed Excel automation tools, macros, and reporting dashboards
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for all developed Excel automation solutions including solution design documents, user guides, and maintenance manuals
• Stay updated with latest Microsoft Excel, Power Query, Power Automate, and Power BI features and evaluate applicability for improving existing automation solutions

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Excel automation, VBA development, or business intelligence reporting roles
• Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel including VBA macro development, advanced formula writing, Power Query, and dynamic array functions
• Strong experience with Excel VBA for developing automated reporting tools, custom user forms, and workflow automation solutions
• Good working knowledge of Power Query for data extraction, transformation, and loading from diverse data sources
• Experience with Power BI for developing interactive dashboards and automated reports connected to Excel and other data sources
• Familiarity with Power Automate for extending Excel automation workflows into broader business process automation scenarios
• Strong understanding of data modeling, database concepts, and SQL for integrating Excel automation solutions with relational databases
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach to identifying and automating manual reporting and data processing tasks
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to develop accurate, reliable, and maintainable Excel automation solutions
• Good communication skills in English and Hindi for cross-functional and stakeholder coordination
• Graduate in Computer Science, IT, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline is preferred
