Job summary

Evoke HR is seeking a skilled Python & Excel VBA Automation Engineer for our OEM client in Chennai. The role requires 4–9 years of experience, with strong coding in Python and Excel VBA and the ability to deliver automation projects.

Immediate joiners are preferred, and automotive domain exposure is a plus. Responsibilities include generating Python scripts from existing VBA, creating releases and documentation, and training customers on new interfaces.

Qualifications

• Expert coding skills in Excel VBA and Python are MUST.
• Extensive knowledge of Python libraries and its usage.
• Experience translating user requirements into a programming language.

Responsibilities

• Generate Python scripts based on existing Excel VBAs for better interface and automation.
• Use Python and host tools for execution of projects as applicable.
• Create releases containing notes on improvements.
• Create documentation on how to use new features and workflows.
• Provide training to customer on how to use the interface.
• Handle regular customer interactions and organizational requirements efficiently.

• Use Python and Host tools for the execution of project, as and when applicable.
• Create releases containing notes on improvements.
• Create documentation on how to use the new features and the workflow.
• Supporting issue tracking in Jira and project development in GITHUB.
• Provide training to customer on how to use the interface
• Handle regular customer interactions and organizational requirements efficiently.
• Present and discuss the work delivered and innovations achieved to the customer and the larger team.
