Job summary

Role Description

The AutoCAD Designer – Building Planning will be responsible for preparing detailed architectural and construction drawings for residential and commercial projects. Day-to-day tasks include developing building layouts, performing space planning, updating plans based on site conditions and client feedback, and ensuring drawings comply with local regulations and company standards. The role involves close coordination with project managers, site engineers, and clients to translate design concepts into precise technical drawings. The individual will maintain drawing documentation, revise plans during different project phases, and support quantity estimation and design approvals as needed. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Coimbatore.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Architectural Drawings and Construction Drawings for building projects.
• Candidates should possess solid Drawing and AutoCAD design skills for preparing accurate technical plans.
• Candidates should possess proven Space Planning abilities to optimize layout efficiency and functionality.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with project teams, clients, and contractors.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and related design software; knowledge of building codes and standards is highly beneficial.
• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in building planning or construction design, particularly in residential or commercial projects, is an advantage.
• Ability to work on-site in Coimbatore, manage deadlines, and maintain accuracy in all drawings and documentation.
