Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed layout drawings including plans, elevations and sections for residential, commercial, retail and hospitality interiors.

Role Description

The Autocad Designer will work full time in office at Decoimagination’s studio in Kolkata, Camac Street. This role involves preparing detailed layout drawings, including plans, elevations, and sections for residential, commercial, retail, and hospitality interiors. The designer will collaborate closely with the Racee team, Managers/ onwers to understand and prepare layout as per the Company noms.

Responsibilities include updating and revising drawings based on feedback, coordinating with project managers and vendors, and ensuring that all documentation aligns with design standards and project timelines.

The Autocad Designer will also support site coordination by reviewing drawings against on-site conditions and making necessary adjustments. It is purely cad drafting job so candidate should be great in Autocad and should be experienced in interior field.

Qualifications

• Strong technical drawing skills, including Drawing and Construction Drawings, with proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software. (with great working speed on preparing the drawing)
• Ability to develop and interpret Drawings and Space Planning layouts for interior projects.
• Effective Communication skills for collaborating with designers, project managers, vendors, and site teams.
• Experience in layout, detail drawing preparation , particularly in commercial, retail, or hospitality projects.
• Attention to detail, accuracy in documentation, and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Diploma or degree in Interior OR Architecture.
• Familiarity with 3D visualization tools (e.g., SketchUp, Revit, or similar) is an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of expertise required in only drafting of drawings.
