Job summary

Apollo group in Bangalore seeks an Authorised Verifier for Insurance Operations. The role focuses on verifying customer and policy information, ensuring compliance, and coordinating with sales for timely case resolution.

The candidate should have a graduate degree and prior insurance operations experience, with strength in MS Excel and MIS reporting, and a track record of handling high-volume transactions within defined TAT/SLA.

Qualifications

• Graduate in any discipline.
• Prior experience in insurance operations, verification and policy processing, or related operations role preferred.
• Experience handling high-volume transactions and meeting defined TAT/SLA is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Verify customer, proposal, documentation, and policy information per process guidelines.
• Validate information submitted and identify discrepancies.
• Ensure timely resolution and meet defined TAT and quality benchmarks.
• Ensure cases are processed only after meeting verification criteria.
• Adhere to SOPs, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
• Maintain high accuracy and quality standards; identify risks or fraudulent information and escalate.
• Maintain documentation and audit trails for verification activities.
• Participate in quality audits and implement corrective actions for gaps.
• Coordinate with Sales teams for case resolution.
• Follow up on pending information required to complete verification.
• Ensure timely closure of cases within SLAs.
• Maintain trackers/MIS related to verification volumes, pending cases, TAT, quality, and exceptions.
• Highlight recurring process issues and suggest opportunities for process improvement and automation.
• KPIs include Verification TAT/SLA adherence, verification accuracy, quality score, case rejection/error rate, pending case ageing, productivity per day, compliance adherence, and exception resolution TAT.

Authorised Verifier - Insurance Operations

Role Purpose

The Authorised Verifier is responsible for reviewing and validating customer and Insurance policy-related information, ensuring that all cases meet defined quality, compliance, and process requirements before moving to the next stage of processing. The role requires strong attention to detail, process adherence, and effective coordination with relevant stakeholders

Key Responsibilities

1. Verification & Validation

• Verify customer, proposal, documentation, and policy-related information as per defined process guidelines
• Validate information submitted
• Identify discrepancies, gaps, or exceptions and ensure timely resolution
• Conduct verification within defined TAT and quality benchmarks
• Ensure cases are processed only after meeting the required verification criteria

2. Quality & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to defined SOPs, regulatory requirements, and internal policies
• Maintain high accuracy and quality standards while processing cases
• Identify potential risks, inconsistencies, or fraudulent/misrepresented information and elevate as per the defined process
• Maintain proper documentation and audit trails for all verification activities
• Participate in quality audits and implement corrective actions for identified gaps

3. Coordination & Process Management

• Coordinate with Sales Teams for case resolution
• Follow up on pending information required to complete verification
• Ensure timely closure of cases within agreed SLAs
