Job summary

Jupiter Hospitals Projects Private Limited in India is seeking a Pharmacy Delivery Assistant in the Supply Chain department. You will deliver medicines, IV fluids, and pharmacy supplies to hospital wards, ICUs, OT areas, OPDs, and other designated locations, ensuring accuracy and safety.

You will collect prescriptions and returns, assist pharmacists with packing and dispatching, maintain logs, and support inventory movements while upholding infection control and confidentiality policies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver prescribed medicines, IV fluids, and pharmacy supplies to hospital wards, ICUs, OT areas, OPDs, and other designated locations.
• Collect prescriptions, indents, or return items from wards and departments as instructed.
• Ensure correct delivery by matching patient details, ward information, and medication labels.
• Assist pharmacists in arranging, packing, and dispatching medicines.
• Maintain delivery logs, acknowledgement slips, and basic documentation as required.
• Handle medicines carefully to avoid damage, loss, or contamination.
• Follow hospital infection control, safety, and confidentiality policies at all times.
• Support inventory movement activities such as stock transfers and returns.
• Report any discrepancies, delays, damaged items, or urgent delivery needs to the pharmacist or supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in pharmacy and delivery areas.
• Perform any other duties assigned by pharmacy management.
