The Pharmacy Staff will be responsible for dispensing medicines, maintaining pharmacy stock, checking prescriptions, supporting billing coordination, and ensuring safe medication handling in the hospital pharmacy. This requires knowledge of medicines, pharmacy operations, inventory control, documentation, and patient communication. The candidate will coordinate with doctors, nurses, billing, stores, and patients to ensure timely medicine availability and accurate pharmacy service delivery.

• Dispense medicines to patients as per valid prescriptions and hospital pharmacy procedures.
• Verify medicine name, dosage, strength, quantity, expiry, and prescription details before dispensing.
• Maintain accurate pharmacy stock records, purchase entries, issue records, and billing details.
• Coordinate with doctors, nurses, billing, stores, and patients for medicine requirements.
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages, near-expiry medicines, damaged stock, or fast-moving items.
• Ensure proper storage of medicines as per temperature, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Handle prescription queries and guide patients on medicine usage as per pharmacist instructions.
• Support inventory verification, stock reconciliation, and periodic physical stock checks.
• Maintain proper labeling, segregation, and arrangement of medicines and consumables.
• Follow FIFO, FEFO, expiry control, and medication safety practices.
• Support inward and outward movement of medicines, surgical items, and pharmacy consumables.
• Maintain cleanliness, discipline, and organized display of pharmacy shelves and counters.
• Prepare pharmacy reports, stock summaries, and pending medicine requirement updates.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, pharmacy regulations, and documentation standards.
• Contribute to safe medication dispensing, reduced errors, and better patient service.
