KSB is seeking a Procurement professional to identify, develop, and onboard casting suppliers in Maharashtra. You will manage end-to-end outsourcing for various castings and coordinate RFQs, evaluations, and supplier negotiations to meet cost and delivery targets.

The role requires BE Mechanical or DME, with options for 0 or 8–10 years of experience, and a focus on supplier quality, delivery performance, and continual cost improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement processes and supplier management.
• Knowledge of end-to-end outsourcing for castings and supplier negotiations.
• Familiarity with KPIs like PPM, OTD, and quality metrics.

Role & responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and onboard new casting suppliers.
• Manage end-to-end outsourcing activities for cast iron, SG iron, steel, and alloy castings.
• Coordinate RFQs, techno-commercial evaluations, and supplier negotiations.
• Ensure supplier compliance with quality, delivery, and commercial requirements.
• Monitor supplier performance through KPIs such as PPM, OTD, and rejection rates.
• Support capacity planning and develop alternate sources to mitigate supply risks.
• Lead annual cost reduction and value engineering projects.
• Drive localization, resourcing, and process optimization initiatives.
• Conduct should-cost analysis and benchmark supplier pricing.
• Negotiate price reductions, productivity benefits, and commercial agreements.
• Implement VA/VE projects in collaboration with suppliers and internal teams.
• Deliver yearly procurement cost-saving targets.
• Lead strategic sourcing projects aligned with business objectives.
• Develop long-term supplier partnerships and sourcing strategies.
• Support new product development through supplier involvement and APQP activities.
• Drive digitalization, inventory optimization, and supply chain improvement projects.
• Manage risk mitigation plans for critical casting commodities.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams involving Quality, Engineering, Planning, and Manufacturing.
