Manager – Painting & Assembly Shop at its Daman facility. You will plan and supervise day-to-day painting and assembly shop operations, drive production targets and ensure adherence to quality standards and customer specifications. We are seeking a Mechanical engineer with 8–10 years of experience, strong leadership and Kaizen/Lean mindset.

Qualifications

• Experience in painting and assembly shop operations.
• Experience ensuring production targets meet schedule and quality standards.
• Strong leadership and cost control abilities.
• Knowledge of powder coating, DFT, WPS, shade and specs.
• Proficient reading of engineering drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage day-to-day painting & assembly shop operations.
• Ensure production targets are achieved as per schedule and quality standards.
• Ensure optimum utilization of resources.
• Supervise finishing activities, surface preparation, coating & curing.
• Ensure correct application of paints/coatings per WPS, DFT and customer specs.
• Monitor consumption of LPG, powder, mixing ratios and control wastage.
• Coordinate with QA/QC for stage inspections and final clearance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, Lean, TPM).

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage day-to-day Painting & Assembly Shop Operations
• Ensure production targets are achieved as per schedule and quality standards
• Ensure optimum utilization of resources
