Job summary

Blue Star is seeking a Senior Engineering - Manufacturing for its Dadra manufacturing plant. The role focuses on supervising powder coating operations across production lines in shift operations and ensuring coating quality, process control, and safety compliance.

You will mentor operators and coordinate with production, quality, and maintenance teams. Ideal candidates hold a Diploma/Bachelor in Paint technology with 3–6 years of relevant experience in powder coating and pre-treatment processes,

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor in Paint technology required.
• 3–6 years of powder coating operations experience.
• Experience in shift-based manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise powder coating operations across production lines in shift operations.
• Ensure consistent coating quality, thickness, adhesion, and finish.
• Monitor and control pre-treatment processes (degreasing, Nano ceramic coating, etc.).
• Optimize parameters such as curing temperature, line speed, and powder flow.
• Conduct root cause analysis for coating defects (peeling, orange peel, uneven coating, etc.).
• Ensure proper operation and maintenance of equipment like spray guns, booths, ovens, and conveyors.
• Implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
• Coordinate with production, quality, and maintenance teams.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Train and mentor operators & Trainee Operators.
