Job summary

Jobitus is seeking an Asst. Manager – Industrialisation in Bhilad. The role focuses on manufacturability reviews, process improvement, and robust assembly methods for complex machines.

You will drive DFx concepts and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure seamless production readiness. The ideal candidate has 8–10 years in industrialisation, strong problem solving, GD&T knowledge and hands-on API/fixture development experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma/BE/B.Tech in Mechanical
• 8–10 years of relevant experience in industrialisation/manufacturing
• Knowledge of GD&T, engineering drawings and PFMEA is required

Responsibilities

• Review designs for manufacturability and assembly feasibility
• Develop and improve manufacturing and assembly processes for paint dispensing machines
• Coordinate prototype, sample and pre-series builds including components, tooling and fixtures
• Prepare and implement work instructions, process sheets and assembly methods
• Support fixtures, gauges, jigs, testing arrangements and assembly aids
• Identify and resolve issues across machined, fabricated, sheet-metal and plastic parts
• Collaborate with Production and Quality to improve productivity, quality and cycle time
• Support ECR/ECN implementation on the shop floor
• Assist in process validation, trials and production readiness activities
• Coordinate with suppliers for component trials and quality improvements
• Assist cost reduction, line balancing and continuous improvement initiatives
• Support service teams in resolving recurring manufacturing issues

Job description

Position: Asst. Manager – Industrialisation

Location: Bhilad

Experience: 8 - 10Years

Industries: Engineering - MNC

Responsibilities

• Support review of machine and component designs from a manufacturability and assembly perspective.
• Assist in developing and improving manufacturing and assembly processes for paint dispensing machines.
• Support prototype, sample and pre-series builds, including coordination for components, tooling and fixtures.
• Prepare and implement work instructions, process sheets, assembly methods and other manufacturing documents.
• Support development and implementation of fixtures, gauges, jigs, testing arrangements and assembly aids.
• Identify and resolve manufacturing and assembly issues related to machined, fabricated, plastic and sheet-metal components.
• Work with Production and Quality teams to improve productivity, quality, cycle time and process consistency.
• Support Engineering Change Requests (ECR) and Engineering Change Notices (ECN) and ensure changes are implemented on the shop floor.
• Assist in process validation, trial runs and production readiness activities for new and modified products.
• Coordinate with suppliers for component trials, technical issues, quality improvements and manufacturing feasibility.
• Support cost reduction, value improvement, line balancing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support service and production teams in investigating and resolving recurring product and manufacturing issues.

Required Skills
