Job Responsibilities:

1. Supporting new product development projects. Monitor and work on new mold development.
2. Leading day-to-day activities of the Tool Room to support NPD and regular business.
3. Supervising routine activities for the Tool Room and coordinating activities of team members engaged in molding plastic products.
4. Applying knowledge of molding machine set-up, operating techniques, and mold development methods.
5. Identifying discrepancies in parts and products using standard processes and continuous improvement.
6. Managing staffing issues including assigning daily work, addressing performance issues, and resolving problems.
7. Responsible for in-house tool development and cost-saving plans.
8. Management of tool storage and preservation.
9. Taking trials of new molds, modifications, and their approval.
10. Possessing good knowledge of tool design software (SOLIDWORK, NX, AUTOCAD, etc.).
