DEIC-L&T Precision Engineering & Systems IC in Vizag is seeking an Electrical Project Manager to oversee naval system projects from planning through commissioning. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage dispatch and supplier communications, and ensure adherence to quality controls for complex defense installations in Vizag.

The role requires 4–8 years of relevant experience and a BE/BTech degree. Travel flexibility and strong technical and communication skills are essential.

Qualifikationen

• 4–8 years of experience in electrical project management for naval systems.
• Bachelor of Technology (BTech) or BE required.
• Site coordination and installation support in Vizag, Andhra Pradesh.

Aufgaben

• Plan and execute project plans with defined scope, timelines and resources.
• Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and align with goals.
• Coordinate dispatch activities, JRI, and cross-functional communications.
• Lead cross-functional teams and manage site coordination for Vizag installations.
• Oversee I&C, preventive maintenance and rectification of weapon systems.
• Work in naval shipyard environments and support installation, commissioning and on-site activities.
• Operate VxWorks, Linux and PLC software; ensure software readiness.
• Travel as needed; maintain strong business communications.

Job Description

Handling project management of Naval system with following responsibilities:

• 1. Project Planning & Execution : Develop detailed project plans that outline the scope, objectives, timelines, and resources required for successful project execution.
• 2. Quality Assurance: Ensure that project deliverables meet the required quality standards and align with organizational goals.
• 3.. Participation in Dispatch activities , JRI
• 4. Supplier & Cross functional Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for cross functional or supplier, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns that arise.
• 5. Team Coordination: Assemble and manage project teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among team members.
• 6. Good Knowledge of Mechanical / electrical system of Naval defence System
• 7. Site coordination at Vizag for installation, comminissioning and site support.
• 8. Experience in I&C, preventive maintenance, defect rectification of Weapon system.
• 9. Experience of working inside defence shipyard.
• 10. Experience of handling Vx Works, Linux and PLC software.
• 11. Ex-servicemen with Electrical background
