Job summary

Larsen & Toubro is seeking a Naval Project Manager for handling project planning, execution and site coordination at our naval defence facilities. You will oversee quality assurance, coordinate with suppliers and cross-functional teams, and manage project teams to ensure timely delivery.

Ideal candidates have experience in I&C, preventive maintenance, defect rectification of weapon systems, and exposure to shipyard environments. Ex-servicemen with electrical background are preferable.

Qualifications

• Experience with naval defence systems and shipyard environments.
• Strong site coordination, installation and commissioning exposure.
• Ex-servicemen with electrical background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute detailed project plans with scope, timelines and resources.
• Ensure quality assurance for all deliverables.
• Participate in dispatch activities and JRI processes.
• Serve as primary contact for cross-functional and supplier communication.

Handling Project Management Of Naval System With Following Responsibilities

• Project Planning & Execution : Develop detailed project plans that outline the scope, objectives, timelines, and resources required for successful project execution.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure that project deliverables meet the required quality standards and align with organizational goals.
• Participation in Dispatch activities , JRI
• Supplier & Cross functional Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for cross functional or supplier, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns that arise.
• Team Coordination: Assemble and manage project teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among team members.
• Good Knowledge of Mechanical / electrical system of Naval defence System
• Site coordination for installation, commissioning and site support.
• Experience in I&C, preventive maintenance, defect rectification of Weapon system.
• Experience of working inside defence shipyard.
• Ex-servicemen with Electrical background (preferable)
