Job summary

Phenom is seeking an Associate Technical Program Manager for its Big Bets team in Hyderabad. This role targets an engineer with an MBA who can drive large-scale engineering programs and interact with senior leadership from day one.

You will work directly with engineering leadership, translating business problems into structured roadmaps, owning metrics, and coordinating multiple stakeholders across Product and Engineering. Onsite role in Hyderabad.

Qualifications

• Strong structured problem-solving ability; comfortable in ambiguity.
• Technical fluency across APIs, cloud platforms, and SDLC; able to engage in engineering discussions.
• Experience driving end-to-end initiatives with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Structure and drive execution of cross-functional technical initiatives across multiple engineering teams.

Phenom, an Applied AI company, is hiring an Associate Technical Program Manager into our Big Bets team - the group driving company-level strategic initiatives across engineering and product.

This is a foundational role built for a specific profile: an engineer who went to business school. If you have a B.Tech in Computer Science and an MBA from a premium institute, and you want to run large-scale engineering programs rather than pure strategy or consulting work, this is a rare fit. You will work directly with engineering leadership, with visibility to SVP and co-founder level from day one.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• B.Tech in Computer Science or a closely related engineering discipline
• MBA from a premium institute (IIM / ISB / equivalent tier-1 programme)
• 0-2 years of experience; recent graduates and early-career professionals are welcome
• Strong structured problem-solving ability and comfort operating in ambiguity
• Technical fluency across APIs, cloud platforms, and SDLC - you do not need to code daily, but you must be able to hold your own in engineering discussions
• Demonstrated experience driving something end-to-end with multiple stakeholders, whether a project, internship, venture, or initiative
• Excellent written and verbal communication
