Northern Trust Pune office is seeking an Associate, Software Support to provide production support for Wealth Management applications and cloud-hosted services. You will monitor health, collaborate with development, infrastructure, and security teams, and help ensure operational stability.
The role involves incident/change/problem management, RCA/postmortems, and improving runbooks, with hands-on experience across Azure, Kubernetes, Kafka, and database technologies.

As an Associate, Software Support, you will support business-critical Wealth Management applications and platforms across modern cloud, data, integration, security, and observability technologies. You are detail-oriented, service-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production support environment where incident response, problem management, operational stability, and continuous improvement are key priorities. You bring hands‑on experience in application support, production operations, or site reliability support for enterprise‑grade platforms. You can troubleshoot issues across application, database, API, cloud, container, messaging, certificate, and infrastructure layers. You understand Incident, Change, and Problem Management processes and can contribute to RCA, postmortem, and risk‑reduction activities. You are comfortable collaborating with development teams, business stakeholders, infrastructure teams, cyber/security teams, and vendor/enterprise support groups. BFSI, Wealth Management, or financial‑services technology experience is preferred.
As a partner on the Wealth Management Application Support team, you will be an integral part of a cross‑functional support and engineering ecosystem focused on production stability, client experience, operational resilience, and continuous improvement. Provide day‑to‑day production support for Wealth Management applications, APIs, data platforms, and cloud‑hosted services. Monitor application health using observability tools such as Dynatrace and support alert triage, service restoration, and stakeholder communications. Investigate issues across Azure, AKS/Kubernetes, PCF, Kafka, Databricks, Oracle SQL, Neo4j, GraphQL/API, Java, Unix, and related platform dependencies. Support Incident, Change, and Problem Management processes in ServiceNow, including timely updates, evidence capture, escalation, impact assessment, and closure activities. Contribute to RCA and postmortem documentation by identifying contributing factors, preventive actions, and service‑improvement opportunities. Coordinate SSL certificate management, secrets/access management activities, and secure operational tasks using CyberArk and Azure Key Vault. Participate in release support, validation, disaster recovery planning, DR testing, and production readiness activities. Partner with development, infrastructure, database, network, cyber/security, business support, and vendor teams to implement end‑to‑end solutions. Create, maintain, and improve runbooks, knowledge articles, support documentation, dashboards, and operational checklists. Use scripting and automation to reduce manual effort, improve repeatability, and strengthen operational controls. Actively participate in knowledge transfer sessions and continuously build depth across supported platforms and business capabilities.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting mindset with attention to detail and ownership through closure.
