Job summary

Genpact in India seeks an Associate - S&P - Procurement Ops to manage transactional procurement, vendor interactions, and process improvements. You will handle POs, requisitions, invoices, and pricing, ensuring compliance with SOPs and client policies.

Ideal candidates bring CPP certification, strong ERP/SAP/Ariba experience, and data literacy to drive efficiency in a fast-paced, AI-driven operations environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Business Administration, Industrial Eng, Logistics or SCM.
• Masters in Operations Management preferred.
• CPP - IIPMR certification required or current pursuit.

Responsibilities

• Perform procurement tasks per SOPs approved by Client.
• Execute day-to-day transactional procurement processes and PO fulfillment.
• Serve as contact for stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams on PO/invoice queries.
• Investigate and resolve supplier or internal deficiencies.
• Support process improvement and tool/scope implementations.
• Meet SLA commitments with integrity and SOP compliance.

Job Description

• Perform procurement related tasks as per the Standard Operating Procedure documents approved by Client
• Execute day to day transactional procurement processes (vendor management, competitive bidding/ request for quotation, PO fulfillment - requisition/PO creation, delivery/order confirmation, query management, AP issue resolution, PIR creation and maintenance, support sourcing activities and requests, contract maintenance and catalog management, translation of business communications to local language)
• Contact person for business stakeholders, vendors, internal operational teams in terms of resolving any basic issues with purchase orders, requisitions, invoices and payments
• Investigate and resolve deficiencies with suppliers or internal parties
• Support process improvements, new tool or scope implementation/standardization
• Meet or exceed all SLA’s with the outmost integrity and in compliance to SOPs and client’s policies.
