Job summary

Genpact in Bengaluru seeks an Associate for S&P - Procurement Ops to perform transactional procurement, vendor management, and AP issue resolution. You will handle POs, RFQs, catalog management, and ensure adherence to SOPs while supporting improvement initiatives.

The role requires a background in business, engineering or supply chain disciplines, with exposure to SAP/ERP tools and data analytics, in a hybrid work setup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in related fields as listed.
• Experience with procurement processes, vendor management and PO execution.
• Knowledge of ERP, SAP tools, and data analytics is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform procurement tasks per SOP documents approved by Client.
• Execute day-to-day transactional procurement processes and PO fulfillment.
• Interface with stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams to resolve issues.
• Investigate supplier deficiencies and participate in process improvements.
• Support tool implementations and standards across procurement scope.
• Meet SLA targets with integrity and adherence to client policies.

Job Description

• Perform procurement related tasks as per the Standard Operating Procedure documents approved by Client
• Execute day to day transactional procurement processes (vendor management, competitive bidding/ request for quotation, PO fulfillment - requisition/PO creation, delivery/order confirmation, query management, AP issue resolution, PIR creation and maintenance, support sourcing activities and requests, contract maintenance and catalog management, translation of business communications to local language)
• Contact person for business stakeholders, vendors, internal operational teams in terms of resolving any basic issues with purchase orders, requisitions, invoices and payments
• Investigate and resolve deficiencies with suppliers or internal parties
• Support process improvements, new tool or scope implementation/standardization
• Meet or exceed all SLA’s with the outmost integrity and in compliance to SOPs and client’s policies.
