Job summary

Genpact in India is seeking an Associate - S&P - Procurement Ops to perform day-to-day procurement tasks, vendor management, PO creation, and payment resolution in line with SOPs. The role values data literacy, ERP usage, and process improvements driven by AI.

You will collaborate with business stakeholders and suppliers, maintain SLA compliance, and ensure accurate transactions while upholding integrity and client policies in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business/engineering/logistics or supply chain.
• Master's degree in operations management preferred.
• Hands-on procurement experience with SOP adherence.

Responsibilities

• Perform procurement tasks per SOPs approved by Client.
• Execute transactional procurement processes: vendor mgmt, RFP, PO creation, delivery, invoicing.
• Resolve PO/invoice issues with business stakeholders and suppliers.
• Support process improvements and new tool implementations.
• Meet SLA targets with integrity and compliance.

Job Description

• Perform procurement related tasks as per the Standard Operating Procedure documents approved by Client
• Execute day to day transactional procurement processes (vendor management, competitive bidding/ request for quotation, PO fulfillment - requisition/PO creation, delivery/order confirmation, query management, AP issue resolution, PIR creation and maintenance, support sourcing activities and requests, contract maintenance and catalog management, translation of business communications to local language)
• Contact person for business stakeholders, vendors, internal operational teams in terms of resolving any basic issues with purchase orders, requisitions, invoices and payments
• Investigate and resolve deficiencies with suppliers or internal parties
• Support process improvements, new tool or scope implementation/standardization
• Meet or exceed all SLA’s with the outmost integrity and in compliance to SOPs and client’s policies.
