Job summary

Genpact is hiring a Sr. Specialist in S&P - Procurement Ops to lead end-to-end procurement activities, manage supplier relations, and drive cost optimization.

You will work with finance, operations, and legal teams to ensure compliant, efficient processes and successful vendor onboarding across the organization. The role requires strong sourcing analytics, contract experience, and proficiency with Ariba and SAP ERP.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters in relevant business, engineering or supply chain fields.
• Experience in end-to-end procurement, supplier management and contracts.
• Familiarity with sourcing analytics, cost optimization and risk controls.
• Proficiency with procurement tools and ERP systems like Ariba and SAP.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Procurement Management: manage requisitions to PO and supplier delivery.
• Supplier Relationship Management: build relationships and monitor performance.
• Strategic Sourcing & Cost Optimization: identify suppliers and negotiate terms.
• Contract Management: assist in drafting and renewals with legal teams.
• PO & Documentation Management: create and track purchase orders.
• Compliance & Risk Management: ensure policy compliance and mitigate risks.
• Vendor Onboarding & Evaluation: conduct due diligence and audits.
• Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: liaise with finance, ops, legal.
• Reporting & Analytics: provide spend insights and KPI tracking.
• Process Improvement: identify procurement automation opportunities.

Job Description

End-to-End Procurement Management Manage the full procurement cycle from requisition to purchase order creation and supplier delivery. Ensure timely sourcing and procurement of goods and services in line with organizational requirements. 2. Supplier Relationship Management Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, timely delivery, and competitive pricing. Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to delivery, quality, or service. 3. Strategic Sourcing & Cost Optimization Support strategic sourcing initiatives by identifying potential suppliers and negotiating terms to achieve cost savings. Analyze market trends and supplier capabilities to drive procurement decisions. Collaborate with stakeholders to consolidate spend and optimize procurement strategies. 4. Contract Management Assist in drafting, reviewing, and managing procurement contracts and agreements. Ensure contract compliance and renewals in coordination with legal teams. 5. Purchase Order & Documentation Management Ensure accurate and timely creation and tracking of purchase orders. Maintain procurement records and documentation as per company policies and audit requirements. 6. Compliance & Risk Management Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, ethical standards, and relevant laws and regulations. Identify procurement risks and implement mitigation strategies. 7. Vendor Onboarding & Evaluation Facilitate vendor onboarding and due diligence processes. Conduct supplier evaluations and audits to assess compliance and performance. 8. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement Work closely with internal teams (e.g., finance, operations, legal) to align procurement activities with business needs. Act as a liaison between business units and suppliers to facilitate smooth procurement processes. 9. Reporting & Analytics Prepare procurement reports and spend analysis to support decision-making. Monitor key procurement metrics and track cost-saving initiatives. 10. Process Improvement Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes and systems. Support implementation of procurement automation tools and digital solutions.
