Job summary

IDFC FIRST Bank in India seeks an Associate Relationship Manager for Corporate Liability in Wholesale Banking. You will originate NTBs, manage a growing portfolio, and onboard clients with cash and trade solutions, focusing on Digital First companies, IT/ITES, and MNC subsidiaries.

You will build deep ties with PE/VCs, incubators, and law/CA firms while expanding revenue through CMS/Trade/FX and cross-sell opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of relevant experience in corporate current account acquisition.
• Experience with CMS/Trade Processing/FX transactions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Originate NTBs and manage a portfolio of Corporate Liability Group clients.
• Onboard clients, deliver cash and trade solutions with a solutions-based approach.
• Engage with online aggregators, IT/ITES firms, and MNC subsidiaries.
• Build liquid assets or cash-backed lending proposals.
• Develop relationships with PE/VC funds, incubators, law firms, and CA firms.
• Grow CA balances, term deposits, CMS/Trade/FX throughputs; cross-sell salary and wealth products.

Role/Job Title: Associate Relationship Manager- Corporate Liability

Function/ Department: Wholesale Banking

Job Purpose

Develop acorporate liability strategyfor a particular city/region and execute it. Target top clients in the coverage geography and convert them.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Origination of New to Bank (NTBs) accounts and managing (farming) a portfolio of Corporate Liability Group clients sourced by oneself.
• Originate CMS/Trade Processing/FX transactions from Cash Rich Corporate clients, mainly from Digital First Companies, local IT/ITES firms and MNC subsidiaries. Onboard these clients with a solutions-based approach, developing unique solutions wherever required.
• Work with founders of well-funded start-ups, mainly online aggregators, e-commerce and fintech firms, to provide cash and trade solutions and onboard them.
• Build Liquid Asset OR Cash, backed Lending (short credit assessment memo)
• Develop deep relationships with PE/VC funds and Incubators to provide cash and trade solutions to their investee companies. Extend these influencer relationships to renowned law firms & Chartered Accounts as well.
• Manage relationships with existing clients and increase CA balances, term deposits, CMS/Trade/FX throughputs and maximize revenues from these services. Cross-sell other products of the bank like salary and wealth management to maximizes share of wallet.
• Collaborate with the various Product Sales Managers and the Implementation teams across all Banking products to achieve these objectives.
