Job summary

Nuveen seeks a Specialist - Product Owner for IN to drive product vision, manage backlogs, and collaborate with Product Managers to write user stories. You will contribute to roadmaps, requirements, and functional specs, and participate in sprint planning, market research, and competitive analysis.

Expect a university degree and 3+ years in product ownership (5+ preferred). Strong CI/CD, debugging, DevOps, and SDLC expertise are valued. Sedentary role based in Pune, India.

Qualifications

• University degree required.
• Experience in product ownership or product management is preferred.
• Familiarity with SDLC and Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the product backlog and prioritize user stories.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to create and refine user stories and roadmaps.
• Lead sprint planning and participate in market research and competitive analysis.
• Document product life cycle artifacts including requirements and specs.
• Engage stakeholders and manage backlogs across teams.

• Incumbents in this role may also be responsible for modernization and integration efforts.
• Product Owners work very closely with Product Managers to create user stories.
• They author documents relating to product life cycle including product roadmap, business requirements and functional specifications.
• They participate in sprint planning, perform market research and competitive analysis leading to the iterative development of the product.
