Associate Product Manager — Credit & Lending Platform

Focus: Cards & Credit Line on UPI

Platform build + bank/fintech implementation & solutioning

Company Introduction

Falcon a Series-A funded cloud-native, AI-first banking technology & processing platform that helps banks, NBFCs, and PPIs quickly and affordably launch next-gen financial products, such as credit card, credit line on UPI, prepaid card, fixed deposits, and loans.

Since our 2022 launch, we’ve processed USD 1.5Bn+ in transactions, signed on 12 of India's top financial institutions, and clocked USD 15Mn+ in revenue. Our company is backed by marquee investors from around the world, including heavyweight investors from Japan, USA, as well as leading Indian ventures and banks.

About The Role

As an Associate Product Manager on our Credit & Lending Platform, you will own the implementation of credit card and Credit Line on UPI (CL-on-UPI) programs across partner banks — from requirement gathering through configuration, solutioning, and launch. You will build core platform capability where it is needed, and solve custom bank and fintech requirements using our existing platform capabilities, configuring rather than hardcoding so that every solution scales across our multi‑tenant stack.

The role sits at the intersection of platform product management, customer implementation, and product experience — you will work as closely with engineering on reusable capabilities as you will with banks on translating their needs into the platform.

We work AI‑first. You are expected to treat AI as a core part of how you operate — using it to research markets and customers, draft requirements and documentation, prototype solutions, and build agents and automations that multiply your impact across banks and product lines.

Your Responsibilities & Impact
  • Own end‑to‑end implementation of credit card and Credit Line on UPI programs for partner banks — from requirement gathering and solution design to configuration, testing support, and launch.
  • Solution custom requirements from bank and fintech customers using existing platform capability; translate bank‑specific asks into configuration and middleware adapters, and elevate genuine gaps as net‑new platform capability.
  • Contribute to platform‑level initiatives by working on reusable components, APIs, and configuration surfaces that serve multiple banks and product use cases.
  • Work AI‑first — leverage AI across your workflow to research banks, products, and competitors; draft requirements, user stories, and documentation; prototype flows; and build AI agents and automations that accelerate implementation and solutioning at scale.
  • Partner with engineering to define scalable, extensible solutions, keeping long‑term, multi‑tenant platform capabilities and integrations in mind.
  • Translate needs into requirements — convert user needs and data insights into clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Gather and synthesize feedback from partner banks, internal stakeholders, support channels, and user interviews.
  • Analyze product data, customer insights, and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
  • Support roadmap planning and prioritisation based on user impact, business value, and technical feasibility.
  • Partner with design to ensure usable, intuitive experiences for both internal tools and external bank/customer‑facing configuration and onboarding surfaces.
  • Create, review, and critique wireframes and design prototypes to optimise the user and implementation experience.
  • Track key product and implementation metrics, engagement trends, and feature performance, and share insights with relevant teams.
  • Support product reviews and presentations by preparing summaries, findings, and recommendations.
  • Monitor competitor offerings and industry trends to inform product decisions and positioning.
  • Stay informed about relevant regulatory and compliance considerations (e.g. RBI / NPCI) that may affect credit, card, and UPI-credit features.
You’ll Be a Great Fit If You Have
  • A bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, engineering, or a related field (a postgraduate degree / MBA is a plus).
  • 2–4 years of overall experience, ideally with exposure to product management, business analysis, implementation / solutioning, consulting, operations, or analytics.
  • Exposure to financial products such as credit cards, credit lines (including UPI‑based credit / CL‑on‑UPI), or lending — a strong plus.
  • Platform thinking — exposure to APIs, backend systems, and an understanding of scalability, integrations, and reusable, multi‑tenant architectures.
  • AI fluency — hands‑on use of AI tools (LLMs, copilots, agent frameworks) to research, write requirements, analyse data, and prototype; bonus for having built AI agents, automations, or AI‑powered product features.
  • UX sensibility — the ability to create, review, and critique design prototypes to optimise the user experience.
  • Hands‑on flow and wireframing comfort — sketching product flows and wireframes on paper, in PowerPoint, or in tools like Figma, Balsamiq, or Axure.
  • User research instinct — the ability to conduct user and stakeholder research and arrive at the best possible interaction design.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good analytical and problem‑solving abilities, and the ability to translate feedback and data into actionable product improvements.
  • Comfort working with engineers, designers, and business stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail in documentation, analysis, and execution.
  • Curiosity about user behaviour, market trends, and product innovation.
  • Strong ownership, prioritisation, and task‑management skills in a fast‑paced environment.
What We Can Offer You
  • Ample opportunities for professional growth, with the chance to tackle new and exciting challenges.
  • Collaboration with the best talent in the product and engineering domains.
  • An annual learning and development budget to invest in your continuous growth.
  • Comprehensive medical insurance coverage for you and your family.
  • A hybrid work policy that provides flexibility to work from the office and remotely.
