Job summary

Latinem is seeking an experienced Associate Manager - Procurement to manage end-to-end procurement for consultancy services, construction works, and project-related requirements. You will support Australia-based project teams in vendor selection, tender management, contract administration, and SAP procurement processes.

The role involves coordinating with project, design, finance, legal, and construction teams, handling budget tracking, and ensuring governance compliance across procurement

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 6–8 years in procurement for construction/real estate.
• Must have hands-on SAP or similar ERP experience.
• Experience with end-to-end procurement lifecycle for consultancy and construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement lifecycle from sourcing to consultant/vendor appointment.
• Prepare RFPs, tender documents, scopes of work, and procurement schedules.
• Coordinate tendering activities, vendor communications, and commercial evaluations.
• Analyze quotations, negotiate terms, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Prepare comparative statements, evaluation reports, and recommendation notes.
• Handle PRs, POs, and vendor registration in SAP.
• Support preparation, review, and execution of consultancy agreements and contracts.
• Monitor procurement budgets, variances, and savings.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, governance standards, and contractual obligations.
• Coordinate with project, design, finance, legal, and construction teams for procurement.
• Maintain procurement records, reports, trackers, and audit documentation.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• 6-8 years of experience in Construction, Real Estate, or Infrastructure Procurement.
• Minimum 3-4 years of experience handling procurement of construction services, works, and materials.
• Hands-on experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Experience in large-scale residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments.
• Strong commercial acumen and contract negotiation skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Membership with AIQS, RICS, or similar professional body will be an added advantage.
• Exposure to international construction projects and procurement practices.
