Job summary

Mavenir is seeking an experienced QA professional in India to design and execute test strategies for next‑gen telecom products. You will prepare test programs, build fixtures, and write procedures for new releases, ensuring robust validation across 4G/5G architectures and virtualization environments.

Ideal candidates bring hands‑on scripting skills, experience with Landslide or EAST, and deep knowledge of IKEv2/IPsec, SR-IOV networking, and scalable Kubernetes deployments within telecom networks.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Telecom Domain.
• Experience in 4G/5G Architecture and Call flows.
• Knowledge on Virtualization and NFV, Kubernetes container orchestration.
• Scripting in Python and Shell scripting.
• QA Manual and Automation testing with commercial tools (Landslide, EAST).
• Proficiency in IKEv2, IPsec, and EAP-AKA authentication.
• Knowledge of SR-IOV networking and high-performance interfaces.
• Experience in Telecom domain, especially wireless telecommunications.

Prepares test and diagnostic programs, designs test fixtures and equipment, and completes specifications and procedures for new products.

Key Responsibilities

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Telecom Domain.
• Experience in 4G/5G Architecture and Call flows.
• Knowledge on Virtualization and Network Functions Virtualization (NFV), Kubernetes(K8s) container orchestration system.
• Good working knowledge of Scripting (i.e. Python and Shell Scripting etc.).
• Software QA Manual and Automation Testing with at least one or more commercial test tools (such as Landslide, EAST etc.) experience.
• Proficiency in IKEv2 (Internet Key Exchange version 2), IPsec(ESP : Encapsulating Security Payload) encryption protocol and EAP-AKA authentication.
• Knowledge of SR-IOV networking and high-performance interfaces, such as PCI-Express, Intel E810 NIC, Intel x710 NIC, MLX NIC, vmxnet3 NIC etc.
• Experience in Telecom domain especially wireless telecommunications is highly required.

• Supporting inter and intra teams to deploy resolutions for the issues that are reported on 4G/5G solutions.
• Hands-on experience in using VS Code IDE having GH Copilot plugin, M365 Copilot knowledge and Prompt Engineering.
