Job summary

Carrier is seeking a Payroll Associate in Hyderabad to manage end-to-end payroll activities, including inputs, outputs, and cross-functional integrations. The role covers tax filings, benefits, and data integrity within payroll workflows.

Responsibilities include handling employee inquiries, ensuring payroll calendar adherence, and collaborating with vendors. A CA or SAP/Workday background helps in complex reconciliations and year-end submissions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or post-secondary degree required.
• Payroll certification/qualification required.
• 1-4 years payroll experience in Malaysia.
• Payroll SAP preferred with knowledge of Workday and associated integrations.
• ACE Associate within a year of hire or within a year of notification under new job framework.

• Daily, proactive interactions with key internal business partners and customers
• Adherence to the defined payroll calendar
• Maintenance of standard work/procedures

• Report creation and analysis
• Collaboration with vendors
• Monitor banking files and address rejects
• Basic testing/QA of change requests
• In-depth research of escalated issues

About the role

The role of Payroll Specialist requires solid foundational and working knowledge of the end-to-end payroll cycle. Hands-on experience with the various inputs and outputs, such as third-party interfaces, timekeeping, tax filing/compliance, accounting, benefits and other key areas that integrate with payroll is essential.
