Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation is seeking a Payroll Specialist in Hyderabad, India, to manage end-to-end payroll processes. You will work across timekeeping, tax compliance, benefits, and integrations with Workday and SAP, ensuring accuracy and timeliness for each payroll cycle.

The role emphasizes collaboration with internal partners, maintaining payroll calendar adherence, and resolving complex payroll inquiries with a focus on quality and process improvement.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years payroll experience in India payroll, HR and/or payroll IT experience.
• SAP preferred with knowledge of Workday and associated integrations.
• ACE Associate within a year of hire or within a year of notification under new job framework.
• Progressive analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, etc.)
• Working knowledge of country and localized payroll legislation.
• Local legislation knowledge.
• Working knowledge of International Assignees.
• Competent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-starter able to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
• Strong organization skills.
• Team Player.

Responsibilities

• The role of Payroll Specialist requires solid foundational and working knowledge of the end-to-end payroll cycle. Hands-on experience with the various inputs and outputs, such as third-party interfaces, timekeeping, tax filing/compliance, accounting, benefits and other key areas that integrate with payroll is essential.
