Job description

The Associate – Packing – Nasal and Derma will be responsible for supporting packing operations for nasal and dermatology pharmaceutical products. This includes operating packing equipment, verifying packaging materials, checking batch details, maintaining line clearance, and completing documentation as per GMP requirements. The candidate should be detail-oriented, disciplined, and capable of maintaining product quality, packing accuracy, hygiene, and productivity in a pharmaceutical manufacturing setup.

• Operate packing machines and equipment for nasal and dermatology products as per approved SOPs.
• Perform packing activities such as labeling, cartoning, sealing, coding, bundling, and final packing.
• Verify packaging materials, labels, cartons, leaflets, batch numbers, and product details before use.
• Support line clearance activities before batch startup, during changeover, and after batch completion.
• Monitor packing output, machine performance, coding accuracy, sealing quality, and product appearance.
• Record packing details, material usage, reconciliation data, machine readings, and batch documentation accurately.
• Report packing defects, material mismatches, machine breakdowns, or process deviations to supervisors.
• Follow GMP, hygiene, safety, and contamination prevention practices during all packing operations.
• Handle packaging materials carefully to prevent wastage, mix-ups, damage, or incorrect packing.
• Assist in machine cleaning, area cleaning, setup, and changeover activities.
• Coordinate with QA, production, warehouse, and maintenance teams when required.
• Ensure proper segregation of accepted, rejected, returned, and unused packaging materials.
• Follow PPE requirements and safe machine operating practices throughout assigned work.
• Maintain cleanliness, housekeeping, and discipline across assigned packing lines.
• Complete assigned packing targets within defined timelines and quality requirements.
