Job summary

GMR Airports Infrastructure is seeking a Chartered Accountant with 4-6 years of experience in R2R, financial reporting, and consolidation. The role focuses on end-to-end R2R processes for foreign subsidiaries, with IFRS/Ind AS conversions and strong stakeholder coordination.

The candidate will review GL and reconciliations, support audits, and drive process improvements while ensuring regulatory compliance and timely closures.

Qualifications

• CA with 4-6 years of experience in R2R, financial reporting, and consolidation.

• Hands-on experience with SAP ERP and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

Role & responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end Record-to-Report (R2R) activities for multiple foreign subsidiary entities.
• Perform quarterly conversion of financial statements from Foreign GAAP to Ind AS/IFRS standards.
• Review General Ledger (GL), Trial Balance, journal entries, and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate with overseas finance teams for financial data collection, reporting, and issue resolution.
• Prepare financial schedules, notes to accounts, ageing reports, accruals, provisions, prepaid expenses, and intercompany reconciliations.
• Support statutory audits, internal audits, ICFR audits, tax audits, and ensure timely closure of audit observations.
• Consolidate financial statements of subsidiaries, joint ventures, and associate companies for group reporting.
• Collaborate with statutory auditors and consolidation teams to finalize financial statements.
• Prepare and analyze MIS reports, cash flow statements, fund flow reports, budgets vs. actuals, and management presentations.
• Monitor compliance with accounting standards, Companies Act, Income Tax, GST, and other regulatory requirements.
• Handle GST returns, TDS returns, advance tax computations, and reconciliation of tax-related accounts including Form 26AS.
• Support filing of annual Income Tax Returns (ITR) and tax audit requirements.
• Ensure adherence to month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing timelines.
• Strengthen financial controls, identify process improvement opportunities, and mitigate financial and compliance risks.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, auditors, consultants, and finance leadership for seamless reporting and governance activities.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) with 4-6 years of experience in R2R, Financial Reporting, and Consolidation.
• Strong knowledge of Ind AS, IFRS, Financial Statements, Consolidation, and Statutory Compliance.
• Hands-on experience with SAP ERP and Advanced Excel.
• Exposure to multinational entities, foreign subsidiaries, and audit coordination.
• Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
