Job summary

Godrej Properties is seeking a Chartered Accountant with 14+ years of experience in IND AS and IGAAP reporting for a senior financial controller role in Mumbai. You will lead review of consolidated financials across 100+ subsidiaries/JVs, coordinate audits with Big 6 firms, and drive policy development and control rigor.

The role requires SAP proficiency, strong regulatory knowledge (SEBI/LODR/Related Party), and prior experience in a large listed conglomerate.

Qualifications

• CA with 14+ years of experience in IND AS and IGAAP financial reporting.
• Experience reviewing Consolidated Financials of large conglomerates.
• Knowledge of SEBI, LODR, ICFOR, and Related Party requirements.
• SAP experience is must.
• Knowledge of IND AS & IGAAP is essential.
• Experience as Financial Controller in a large listed conglomerate preferred.
• Real estate sector experience is a plus.
• Hyperion and Emerge experience adds value.
• MIS experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Review monthly/ quarterly/ annual IndAS and IGAAP financial statements.
• Consolidate financials for 100+ subsidiaries/JVs and review consolidation logs.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure audit closures.
• Develop accounting policies and ensure compliance across PAN India.
• Prepare rolling forecasts and variance analyses for management.
• Oversee MIS reporting and closing processes on schedule.
• Drive automation initiatives including AI in finance processes.

Job description

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for review of Monthly/Quarterly/Annual IndAS and IGAAP Financial Reporting.
• Responsible for review of Monthly/Quarterly/Annual IndAS Consolidated Financials with 100+ Subsidiaries / JVs.
• Handle audit of Foreign entities / branches.
• Review of Consolidated MIS statements & Support in AOP /CBE / Projections.
• Monthly Management reporting of PAT, Cash Flow, Booking Value, Collection, and other Key Performance indicators.
• Monitor and review accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness on regular basis.
• Interact with internal and external auditors in completing audits. Driving overall statutory audit (preferably dealing with Big 6 audit firm) and Liasoning with other functions for overall audit closure.
• Develop the accounting procedures, accounting policies and set other systems and norms at Corporate / PAN India Level. Also ensures compliance with the same.
• Ensuring closure of all financial reporting and Internal Control compliances with statutory auditors and internal auditors.
• To perform Trial Balance and Ledger scrutiny and pass various closing /adjustment accounting entries.
• Coordinate and prepare rolling Forecast and variance analysis
• Review of Related Party approvals and reporting requirements on regular basis.
• Analyze Key variances across various months/ quarters and suggest improvements / recommendations helping business for quick decision making.
• Drive various automation initiatives (Including AI) at Corporate / PAN India Level to have smooth functioning of the Function. Close coordination with Corporate IT team and Regional Teams implementing various initiatives.
• Focus on various value-added activities on regular basis helping management.

• Must have experience of Review of IND-AS Financial Statements (Standalone and Consolidated) of large Conglomerate.
• Must have experience of Review of various listed entity related Compliances SEBI, LODR, ICFOR, Related Party & Others.
• Experience with SAP is must.
• Knowledge of IND AS & IGAAP is must.
• Must be working with big conglomerate listed companies.
• Experience in Real estate industry would be preferred. Can also look at other Industries.
• Currently working as a Financial Controller role will be add on.
• Working experience upon Hyperion / Emerge will be add on.
• Experience of working upon MIS will be add on.
