Manager / Assistant Manager Financial Reporting & Consolidation

We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant (CA) with 6-11 years of experience in Financial Reporting, Consolidation, and Compliance. The role is responsible for leading financial statement preparation, ensuring regulatory compliance, driving reporting automation, and providing strategic financial insights to senior management.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Preparation & Consolidation

• Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage consolidation of group entities in compliance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS).
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery of financial reports.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.

2. Compliance & Regulatory Reporting

• Ensure compliance with Ind AS, Companies Act, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate and support statutory audits and internal audits related to financial reporting and book closure.
• Maintain strong internal controls and governance frameworks.
• Monitor regulatory updates and implement necessary changes in reporting practices.

3. Performance Summary & Management Reporting

• Prepare monthly business performance summaries and management reports.
• Analyze financial performance, key metrics, variances, and business trends.
• Provide actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.

4. General Ledger (GL) Analytics

• Conduct detailed General Ledger reviews and variance analysis.
• Identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
• Develop analytical reports to support management and business stakeholders.

5. Cash Flow Planning & Forecasting

• Prepare and monitor short-term and long-term cash flow forecasts.
• Track working capital requirements and liquidity positions.
• Align cash flow management with business expansion and investment plans.

6. Automation & Process Improvement

• Drive automation initiatives to enhance financial reporting efficiency.
• Participate in financial system implementations and upgrades.
• Leverage digital tools to improve reporting accuracy and turnaround time.
• Continuously improve financial processes and controls.

7. Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with business units, auditors, consultants, regulators, and internal stakeholders.
• Serve as a key liaison between Finance, Operations, and Senior Leadership.
• Present financial analysis, reports, and recommendations to management and board committees.

Educational Qualification

• Chartered Accountant (CA) Mandatory

Experience

• 6-11 years of relevant experience in Financial Reporting, Consolidation, and Regulatory Compliance.
• Proven experience in financial statement preparation and group consolidation.
• Hands-on experience in GL analytics, cash flow forecasting, and automation projects.

Technical Knowledge

• Strong understanding of:
• Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS)
• IFRS
• Indian corporate reporting requirements
• Experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP (Oracle or other ERPs also acceptable).
