Job summary

Darwinbox Digital Solutions Pvt. Ltd. in Bengaluru is seeking a Garment Merchandiser with 2–5 years of garment merchandising experience to manage end-to-end order processes from confirmation to shipment.

You will coordinate with buyers, suppliers, and production teams, understand tech packs,** and ensure timely delivery while maintaining quality standards. Proficiency in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint is expected, with export experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate/Diploma in Fashion, Apparel, Textile, Garment Technology or related field preferred.
• 2–5 years of experience in garment merchandising/apparel manufacturing.
• Good knowledge of garment production processes.
• Understanding of fabrics, trims, measurements, construction and garment terminology.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong follow-up and coordination abilities.

Responsibilities

• Handle merchandising activities from order confirmation to final shipment.
• Coordinate with buyers, suppliers, production, sampling, quality and sourcing teams.
• Understand buyer requirements, tech packs, specifications and product details.
• Prepare and follow up on T&A calendars.
• Coordinate fabric, trims and accessories procurement as per production requirements.
• Follow up on sampling, approvals, lab dips, fabrics, trims and fit comments.
• Monitor production progress and ensure orders are completed within the agreed timeline.
• Coordinate with production and quality teams to resolve issues affecting delivery.
• Communicate with buyers regarding order status, approvals and changes.
• Check and maintain costing, consumption, order quantities and shipment details.
• Ensure all buyer requirements and quality standards are followed.
• Maintain order-related documentation and prepare regular status reports.
• Coordinate with the logistics team for final inspection and shipment.

Job Responsibilities
