Responsabilités

• Prepare budgets for schools, programs and grants.
• Prepare Budget vs Actual reports and analyze variances.
• Support Sr. Finance Manager with financial analysis and decision-making.
• Assist cash-flow projections and financial planning.
• Prepare donor reports and MIS/periodic financial reports for management and Board.
• Coordinate with Accounts, Program and Operations to ensure accurate financial information.

Responsibilities

• Financial Planning & Analysis:
• Support preparation of school, program and grant budgets.
• Support preparation of Budget vs Actual reports and analyze key variances.
• Support the Sr. Finance Manager with financial analysis and decision-making.
• Support cash-flow projections and financial planning.
• Review financial data and flag unusual trends, risks or areas requiring attention.
• Reporting & Donor Finance:
• Track & analyze grant utilization against approved budgets and donor requirements.
• Prepare donor reports based on financial inputs.
• Prepare financial schedules and data required for donor reviews and audits.
• Review financial aspects of grant agreements and highlight key financial requirements or risks.
• Support preparation of MIS and periodic financial reports for management and the Board.
• Coordination & Process Improvement:
• Work with Accounts, Program and Operations teams to ensure timely and accurate financial information.
• Respond to routine budget, utilization, and financial queries.
• Coordinate with the finance team to resolve discrepancies affecting reporting.
• Support improvements to financial reporting, budgeting and tracking processes.
• Develop and maintain financial trackers and reporting formats as required.

Prerequisites

• Experience: 4-6 years of relevant experience in finance, budgeting or MIS reporting.
• Preferred: Prior experience with donor-funded organizations / NGOs
• MBA (Finance)/CMA/Semi-qualified CA

• Good understanding of budgeting, financial analysis, and reporting.

Location

Pune (with periodic travel to Mumbai or other locations as required)
