GMR Group in Visakhapatnam seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead civil infrastructure initiatives and coordinate with electrical, mechanical, IT teams to meet time and budget targets while upholding safety and quality standards.

You will coordinate design inputs with consultants, review submittals for buildability, and certify RA Bills while tracking daily/weekly progress and ensuring statutory compliance and HSE procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering and proficiency with MS Office.
• Experience in civil/infrastructure project management and execution.
• Ability to coordinate with various internal and external stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate and ensure civil/structural works per construction schedule.
• Coordinate with consultants/clients for design inputs and buildability.
• Certify contractor RA Bills and monitor progress against the schedule.
• Implement Health, Safety and Environmental measures per SOPs.
• Drive team development and guide junior engineers.
• Support bidding teams with quantification and working drawings.

Job Description:

JOB PURPOSE

Execute and complete the Civil Infrastructure projects in coordination with Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing & Information Technology with implementation of highest safety & quality standards, ensuring the works are completed within budget & time.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Construction Management: Under the guidance of the Project Manager, coordinate and ensure implementation of civil / structural works as per the agreed construction schedule to ensure the works are completed within time & cost complying with quality standards.

• Design Management: Coordinate with consultants and clients for the necessary design inputs. Review all the design submittals for the buildability

  • Ensure zero non-compliance to Statutory requirements, satisfying all stake holder requirements.

• Certify contractor’s monthly RA Bills as per the works executed. Review of daily / weekly progress report as per the work schedule. Coordinate with the contractor’s team of Engineers / supervisors and collaboratively work out action plans to catch up with the occasional / frequent delay of work progress.

FINANCIAL DIMENSIONS

Should have work experience in project Management / execution of Infrastructure projects, public utility Building or Institutional Buildings with a minimum project value of 50 Cr

OTHER DIMENSIONS

• To handle a team of 3 plus.
• To handle small projects parallelly.
• Should have been part one major building from excavation till handover.
• Sound leadership skills with emphasis on team building and communication skills.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
• Proficiency in MS office
