Job summary

Adani Enterprises Ltd invites an Associate General Manager - Mergers & Acquisitions to build relationships with domestic and international investment banks, advisors, funds, and other intermediaries to source exclusive deal opportunities globally.

You will identify and evaluate acquisitions across ports, logistics, and infrastructure, including greenfield projects and distressed assets, and lead end-to-end deal structuring.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of M&A, corporate finance, valuation, and transaction execution.
• Expertise in financial modeling, investment analysis, and deal structuring.
• Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, analytical, and presentation skills.
• Experience in managing cross-border transactions and complex deal processes.
• CA or equivalent qualification from a reputed institution.

Responsibilities

• Source proprietary and semi-proprietary deal opportunities globally.
• Lead end-to-end deal structuring including debt and equity.
• Coordinate cross-border due diligence, negotiations, and deal closures.
• Prepare investment notes, valuation models, and IC/Board presentations.
• Monitor global sector trends and capital flows affecting growth.

Associate General Manager - Mergers & Acquisitions

Build and manage strong relationships with domestic and international investment banks, advisors, global funds, restructuring desks, and other intermediaries to source proprietary and semi-proprietary deal opportunities globally. Identify and evaluate potential acquisitions (including greenfield projects), special situations, stressed/distressed assets, and financial restructuring opportunities across ports, logistics, transportation, and allied infrastructure sectors globally. Lead end-to-end deal structuring, including financial structuring (debt and equity) and tax structuring. Work closely with internal teams including Strategy, Treasury, Legal, Tax, and Operations to ensure seamless deal execution. Manage cross-border due diligence, negotiations, transaction documentation, regulatory approvals, and deal closures with international stakeholders. Prepare investment notes, valuation models, and Board/Investment Committee presentations. Track global sector trends, capital flows, and restructuring opportunities relevant to the organization’s growth agenda.
