Job description

The job role is in the Private Markets division atAcuity, one of the fastest growing segments within the firm. This opportunityis ideal for a private equity /investment banking / strategy consultingprofessional who is interested in working with leading global private equityfunds and corporations.

Key Responsibilities: -

• Supporting a global Fund of Fundclients Data validation teams.


• Managing and reconciliation ofportfolio data: Managing portfolio details of various private equity / credit /real estate & infra funds and working on reconciliation process based ondifferent parameters and checks.


• Data analysis: Analytical reviewenhancing historical dataset for outliers and filling gaps related toinformation for all the investments like NAVs, calls, exit information, andcompany financials.


• Standard deviation/ variancechecks: Basic knowledge of statistical tools is required to measure the spreadof data from mean.


• Report validation: Dataverification to ensure its quality and accuracy in the reports and eye fordetail must identify various gaps.


• Regular interaction with clientsand supporting them by catering to their other ad-hoc requests.


• Proficiency in Power BIdevelopment, and data visualization concepts.


• Advanced Excel skills Knowledgeof applications like Xlookup/ Vlookup/ Data validation, etc. to produce tables,use spreadsheets efficiently, and perform calculations and automation toprocess large volumes of data.

Key competencies: -

• CFA/ MBA in Strategy, Finance, Operations or Economics


• 4-5 years of experience in strategy research andanalysis, preferably across industries


• At least ~1 year of experience in managing a team, aswell as directly communicating with clients


• Experience in managing client communications solo willbe considered an added advantage


• Experience in handling projects independently


• Strong problem-solving abilities and analyticalthinking skills, as evidenced by extensive experience in utilizing those skillsin research and consulting environment


• Adept at synthesizing information to generate insights


• Strong communication skills
