Job summary

Apex Group is seeking an Associate to support bookkeeping and preparation of primary statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flows) across multiple GAAPs. You will analyze bank transactions, process invoices, and reconcile inter-company activities in a fast-paced, global environment.

Qualified candidates include CA/CPA/ACCA/MBA Finance or CFA with 0–5 years in accounting (IFRS/US GAAP preferred). Proficiency in MS Office (Excel/Word) and good communication skills are essential; willingness to work

Qualifications

• CA/CPA/ACCA/MBA Finance or CFA or equivalent in Accounting/Finance.
• 0–5 years of accounting experience (IFRS/US GAAP preferred).
• Strong accounting knowledge and journal entry skills.
• Experience with IFRS/US GAAP advantageous.
• Proficient in MS Office, esp. Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Prepare data for bookkeeping and primary statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flows).
• Analyze bank transactions and process on accounting platform/Excel.
• Process invoices, expenses and other transactions.
• Understand accruals, prepayments, FAR and revaluations.
• Track cash, capital and dividend movements.
• Reconcile AP and AR; inter-company transactions.
• Assist with trial balance finalization.
• Prepare and report periodic management accounts in IFRS/US GAAP.
• Assist with payroll accounting and VAT/GST calculations/returns.
• Resolve queries from onshore, clients, auditors, directors.

Key Duties And Responsibilities

• Receipt of required data for the preparation of Book-Keeping and periodic primary statements, namely – P&L account, Balance sheet, Cash-flows & notes as appropriate.
• Analysis of bank transactions and processing them on accounting platform/excel.
• Analysis and processing of invoices, expenses, and other transactions.
• Clear understanding of accrued & prepaid expenses, FAR & Revaluations.
• Understanding of cash, capital & Dividend movements
• Ability to reconcile AP & AR (Inter-company transactions)
• Exposure to Trial balance finalization.
• Preparation & reporting of periodic management accounts in multiple GAAPs, mainly in IFRS, US GAAP.
• Exposure to payroll accounting, posting journal entries & VAT/GST calculations/returns.
• Ability to understand and resolve queries raised by Onshore, Client, Auditor and Director.

Qualification And Experience

• Qualification- CA, CPA, ACCA, MBA (Finance), CFA, or any course specialized in Accounting/Finance
• Experience of 0-5 years in Accounting (IFRS/US GAAP is preferred)
