Job summary

UL Solutions is seeking professionals to perform inspections and audits in line with UL standards and internal procedures. The role includes factory visits, verification of markings, records review and timely completion of tasks, with occasional home office arrangement.

Responsibilities extend to assisting customers with UL services, promoting benefits, and ensuring compliance with the UL Code of Conduct and security practices. The position involves ongoing learning and adherence to procedures.

Responsibilities

• Performs inspections and audits per UL standards and internal procedures.
• During factory visits, review and selection of products, components and sub-assemblies for UL markings.
• Verify components, materials, markings and UL Labels for selected products.
• Verify various production records and documentations.
• Review of previous inspection results and potential corrective actions.
• Check calibration for test equipment and measurement tools.
• Select samples and witness factory tests and test records.
• Create and submit inspection and non-conformance reports.
• Review traceability and inspection programs.
• Independently schedule inspections and complete all tasks on time (home office arrangement).
• Assist customers with questions related to UL services and resolve technical and administrative issues.
• Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct and follow security practices.
• Perform other duties as directed.

• Performs inspections and audits in accordance with the required Standards and ULS internal operating procedures, consisting of:

• During factory visits, review and selection of products, components and sub-assemblies that are eligible for ULS markings.

• Verification of components, materials, markings and ULS Labels for selected products.

• Verification of various production records and documentations.

• Review of previous inspection results and potential corrective actions.

• Checking calibration for test equipment and measurement tools.

• Selecting samples and witnessing factory tests (when required) and test records.

• Creating and submitting inspection and potential non-conformance reports.

• Review of various traceability and inspection programs.

• Independently scheduling inspections and completing all other assigned tasks on time (home office arrangement).

• Assists and helps customers with their questions related to ULS services, explains and promotes the benefits of new and existing services, helps internal and external customers to resolve technical and administrative issues.

• Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct and follow all physical and digital security practices.

• Performs other duties as directed.
