Job summary

UL Solutions External Career Site is seeking a laboratory testing professional to independently manage testing activities per UL, IEC, IS, EN standards and to review customer requirements, prepare test data sheets and plans, execute tests, and issue technical reports.

You will own laboratory operations, coordinate project schedules, ensure ISO/IEC 17025 compliance, support audits, and drive productivity, quality, and 5S/EHS initiatives while maintaining safety and housekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage laboratory testing activities as per UL, IEC, IS, EN, and other applicable standards.
• Testing exposure as per IEC 62368, 60601, 61010, IS 13252 and IS 616 is an added advantage.
• Exposure in BIS CRS (Compulsory Registration Scheme) testing
• Review customer requirements, prepare test data sheet and plans, execute tests, and issue technical reports.
• Own laboratory operations including equipmentutilization, maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate project schedules and ensure on-time completion of testing programs.
• Maintain compliance with ISO/IEC 17025, laboratory procedures, and safety requirements.
• Support accreditation audits,ILC, proficiencytesting, and quality initiatives.
• Provide technical support and project updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Drive productivity, quality,utilization and turnaround time improvements.
• Ensure compliance with 5S practices, laboratory housekeeping, visual workplace standards, and EHS requirements.
• Conduct periodic 5S audits and implement corrective actions.
