Job summary

UL Solutions in Gurugram (India) is seeking an experienced Client Account Manager to organize and coordinate assigned client work, ensuring timely and profitable delivery across projects in the textile domain.

You will provide regular status updates, quotes, proposals, and technical information, collaborate with Operations, QA, and Business Support, and help grow our client relationships through compliant, high-quality service.

Qualifications

• General degree or equivalent, preferably in Textile Technology / Textile Engineering.
• 8-10+ years of laboratory / testing experience in textile domain.
• Familiarity with government agencies and regulations as they apply.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Demonstrated written, oral and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of in-house staff and clients.
• Must be able to identify problems and offer workable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Organizes and coordinates assigned client account work in a timely and profitable manner.
• Provides regular updates to the client and ensures accounts stay on track.
• Proactively obtains status updates for ongoing projects.
• Offers proactive solutions to clients when issues arise.
• Provides quotes, organizes and processes samples for assigned client accounts.
• Coordinates work with Operations, QA and Business Support.
• Prepares client proposals, reports, specifications, and technical information.
• Follows up on inquiry calls; responds promptly and professionally.
• Participates in trade shows and technical conferences.
• Presents knowledge to team after events.
• Works with business support to bill clients timely.
• Provides training to colleagues on programs and processes.
• Provides technical support to in-house employees as needed.
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of regulations and product expertise to develop new business with clients.
• Provides technical consultation to clients directly or with internal team.
• Keeps up to date with regulations and updates to clients.
• Read and follow UL Code of Conduct and security practices.
• Performs other duties as directed.

• Provide technical consultation to clients directly and/or through coordination with internal technical team.
• Keeps up to date with regulations and provide updates to clients.
• Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct and follow all physical and digital security practices.
• Performs other duties as directed.
