Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monitor application and infrastructure health.

• Respond to alerts and take predefined actions or escalate as needed.
• Monitor and manage scheduled jobs and ensure successful completion.
• Create, update, and close tickets in ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Remedy).
• Provide timely updates to stakeholders and escalate critical issues to L2/L3.
• Maintain runbooks, SOPs, and incident logs for knowledge sharing and audits.
• Work in rotational shifts (24x7) including weekends and holidays.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitoring: Continuously monitor application and infrastructure health using tools like Nagios, Grafana, Splunk, or custom dashboards.
• Incident Management: Acknowledge, log, and categorize incidents; perform initial triage and resolution for known issues.
• Alert Handling: Respond to system alerts and take predefined actions or escalated as necessary.
• Job Monitoring: Monitor and manage scheduled jobs and ensure successful completion.
• Ticket Management: Create, update, and close tickets in ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy).
• Communication: Provide timely updates to stakeholders and escalated critical issues to L2/L3 teams.
