Job summary

Eaton in India seeks a candidate to analyze electronic components and PCB assemblies for cost-out and resiliency projects. You will work with Global Procurement, Engineering, and suppliers to improve data libraries and drive savings across categories.

Qualifications

• Understanding of electronic component specifications, lifecycles and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Analyze spend data to identify cost-out gaps for electronics components and PCBAs.
• Contribute to enterprise-wide cost-out and resiliency projects with Global Procurement and Engineering teams.
• Improve engineering data for electronics components and contribute to data libraries.
• Drive supplier consolidation and data improvements to avoid part proliferation.
• Demonstrate engineering tools and analytical methods for component selection and validation.

"The primary responsibility of this role is to analyze commercial, technical data of electronic components, PCB gerbers and assemblies for generating and supporting different type of cost out, resiliency and NPI projects. It also requires executing category wise strategies, in close collaboration with various cross functional teams like Global procurement organization, product development teams and suppliers across the globe. The incumbent would be responsible for Engineering data improvement for Electronics Components and contribute in data libraries development."
