Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electronics Manufacturing Engineer to support electronic assemblies and manufacturing processes. This role will involve reviewing parts and schematic designs, supporting PCB/PCBA assembly processes, testing methodologies, and ensuring compliance with IPC standards and RoHS regulations. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in driving cost optimization, yield improvements, and value engineering initiatives while collaborating with internal teams and suppliers to identify alternative solutions and develop efficient, cost-effective manufacturing processes.

Roles and Responsibilities
Research and analyze parts, assemblies, schematics, electrical drawings, and PCBA/CCA assemblies to ensure manufacturability and compliance.
Oversee and support electronics manufacturing processes such as SMT, PTH wave/selective soldering, conformal coating, potting, gluing, cleaning, and other special processes.
Define or recommend suitable testing processes for assemblies, including FPT, ICT, Synor, Ditmico, Continuity, Functional Testing, ESS, HASS, and Vibration tests, based on product complexity.
Ensure adherence to IPC-A-610/620 standards and compliance with both RoHS and Non-RoHS manufacturing processes.
Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing, quality, and yield-related issues for commodities such as PCBA, Cables, and Transformers.
Develop and maintain Should-Cost Models for EMS, ODM, and Finished Goods (FG) assemblies, including Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs).
Identify key cost drivers and recommend low-cost alternative manufacturing solutions.
Drive Value Engineering (VE) initiatives, such as cycle time reduction, elimination of additional/unnecessary processes, and introduction of alternate low-cost components.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to implement cost and process optimization solutions.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
Strong understanding of electronics manufacturing processes, PCBA assembly, and testing methodologies.
Extensive knowledge of IPC standards (IPC-A-610/620) and RoHS compliance processes.
Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and resolving yield, manufacturing, and quality issues across electronic commodities.
Proven expertise in cost modeling, cost analysis, and identifying cost drivers.
Familiarity with Value Engineering techniques and experience in cost/efficiency improvement initiatives.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong technical and analytical mindset.
Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across global teams and suppliers.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and related engineering tools.
