Qualifications

• MBA/CA with 9–15 years in Corporate Banking or debt capital markets origination.
• Proven ability to sell financial services to mid-sized corporates.
• Strong relationships with senior decision makers in target clients.
• Understanding of debt capital markets and corporate credit analysis.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Position: Associate Director-Mid Corporates Business Development (Chennai)

Role:

• The role is for management of existing and new relationships with Mid Corporates
• Origination of new credit rating mandates from these debt issuers
• Responsible for developing and executing target driven marketing strategy for the Company in the region
• Raising the profile of the Company’s brand through consistent marketing to bankers, investors etc. in the region
• In charge of fee negotiations for both existing and new mandates
• Working closely with the analytical teams.
• From the outset the individual will enjoy a high degree of autonomy and responsibility, with excellent opportunities for self and career development.
• Managing a team

Experience:

• MBA/CA with 9-15 yrs of experience in Corporate Banking/ Relationship Management of Mid Corporates in a Bank/NBFC or in Origination of Debt Capital Market Mandates.
• Experience in selling financial services to Mid-sized corporates
• Should have excellent relationships with senior decision makers among these CorporatesUnderstanding of debt capital markets as well as a general understanding of corporate credit analysis
• Strong marketing, Sales, negotiation skills are a pre‑requisite
• Excellent communication skills and should be able to communicate at senior management level. Must have good interpersonal skills
• Self-starter with strong focus on revenue generation
