Job summary

Standard Chartered in Mumbai, India, seeks an Associate to lead execution of M&A advisory transactions under senior supervision. You will contribute to idea generation, engage in high quality pitches, and coordinate with deal teams and clients.

Qualifications

Job Summary
  • Lead execution of M&A advisory transactions for our clients, with supervision and guidance from senior members and assistance from junior members of the team, and contribute to idea generation and engage in high quality pitches
  • Perform financial and valuation analyses using various methodologies
  • Build detailed financial models to evaluate performance under various operating scenarios and to analyse the impacts on potential M&A transactions
  • Participate in all stages of transaction executions, from the pitch phase through to closing
  • Coordinate efforts with deal team members across the Bank, other advisers and the clients
  • Involved in day-to-day project management and execution support
  • Research and analysis of markets and industries
  • Research and financial analysis of companies based on company information, research reports, and other information sources
