Job summary

Indigo Group in Mumbai is seeking an analytical M&A / Investment Due Diligence Associate to evaluate investment opportunities and support the team through the transaction lifecycle. You will understand businesses, analyze financials, perform due diligence and prepare materials for investment decisions.

The role requires evaluating investment risks, preparing financial analyses, and coordinating with external consultants, auditors and legal advisors.

Qualifications

• 2–6 years of experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity, Venture Capital, M&A, Transaction Advisory, Corporate Finance or Due Diligence.
• Strong financial modelling and Excel skills.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and business valuation.
• Excellent analytical and research capabilities.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed financial, commercial and business due diligence on potential investments.
• Analyze financial statements, management accounts, cash flows, working capital and profitability.
• Evaluate business models, competitive positioning, growth opportunities and key risks.
• Prepare financial analysis, valuation models and investment cases.
• Conduct industry and comparable-company research.
• Identify key investment risks and potential red flags.
• Review company information, contracts, financial data and other documents shared during due diligence.
• Coordinate with external consultants, auditors, legal advisors and other transaction professionals.
• Prepare investment teasers, Information Memorandums, investment notes and management presentations.
• Support preparation of investment committee materials.
• Manage and analyze information received through virtual data rooms.
• Assist in deal structuring, negotiations and transaction documentation.
• Monitor transactions from initial evaluation through closing.
• Work closely with the Deal Origination and Capital Raising teams.

About The Role
