Job summary

AimBig Employment Pty Ltd, Mumbai-based technology and telecoms leader, is seeking a seasoned Chief Financial Officer to steer global finance operations. You will oversee budgeting, reporting, risk management, and governance across multiple locations.

The role requires CA with 12–15+ years, strong US GAAP expertise, hands-on in consolidations, cash flow, and Sarbanes-Oxley controls. You will mentor the finance team and partner with senior leaders to drive strategic financial decisions.

Qualifications

• CA with 12–15+ years of experience.

• Experience in financial statements, consolidations, and cash flow management.
• Internal Controls, SOX Compliance, Audit Management experience.

• Manage financial reporting and analysis to support business decisions.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal financial policies.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to align financial strategies.
• Provide insights to improve financial performance and efficiency.
• Lead and mentor the finance team to achieve organisational goals.
• Identify and mitigate financial risks effectively.
• Support audits and liaise with external stakeholders as needed.

The Successful Applicant

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 12-15+ years of experience ( CPA US Desirable )
• Strong expertise in US GAAP and working knowledge of Indian GAAP, with hands-on experience in financial statement preparation, consolidations, and cash flow management.
• Proven experience in Internal Controls, SOX Compliance, Financial Governance, Audit Management, and Risk Management Frameworks.
• Exposure to publicly listed organizations, preferably NASDAQ-listed companies, including regulatory reporting requirements.
• Strong understanding of ASC 606 (Revenue Recognition), Lease Accounting, Controllership, Tax Management, and Corporate Finance.
• Demonstrated experience leading large finance teams and managing multiple finance functions within complex global organizations.
• Prior experience within IT Services, ITES, SaaS, Healthcare, Construction, or Global Capability Center (GCC) environments will be preferred.
