We are seeking a seasoned, hands‑on Financial Controller to spearhead our financial operations, corporate governance, and transaction workflows. As an elite people manager, you will supervise our core financial machinery—including end‑to‑end AP & AR cycles—across multiple group companies. This role demands an agile leader with a background in IT Services who can seamlessly navigate cross‑functional projects, manage complex statutory audits, and provide critical support during corporate acquisitions.
Key Responsibilities
- Consolidation and management of books of accounts for all group companies, ensuring strict adherence to accounting standards (IndAS, IFRS, or US GAAP).
- Complete ownership of the end‑to‑end Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) cycles, ensuring optimized working capital, robust collections, and timely vendor settlements.
- Standardize accounting policies and scale financial operations across advanced ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics).
Audit Management & Governance
- Act as the primary interface top‑tier accounting firms to drive statutory, internal, and tax audits.
- Ensure complete compliance with direct/indirect taxation laws, transfer pricing regulations, and IT sector‑specific compliances (like SEZ/STPI mandates if applicable).
- Eliminate operational gaps by designing, implementing, and monitoring tight internal financial controls (IFC).
Acquisition & Strategic Support
- Partner with the executive leadership team on global/domestic acquisition strategies, including post‑merger financial integration.
- Drive financial due diligence, historical performance verification, and valuation assessments during transactional phases.
- Assist in the seamless migration of acquired entities' books and processes into the parent group's ERP environment.
Cross‑Functional & People Leadership
- Directly manage, mentor, and build a high‑performing finance team of 3 to 5 members, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous development.
- Collaborate extensively with cross‑functional business heads (Sales, Delivery, HR, and Operations) to align financial policies with IT delivery goals, resource utilization metrics, and project profitability.
Education & Experience
- Qualifications: Chartered Accountant (CA) / ICWA / MBA in Finance from a premium institute is highly preferred.
- Experience:12 to 15 years of post‑qualification experience, with a core tenure spent leading finance teams within IT Services/Consulting environments.
- Proven track record of handling multiple group accounts, legal entities, or multi‑geography consolidation.
