Project Engineer - ELV

Job summary

Triton Process Automation is seeking an experienced ELV project engineer to lead planning, design, installation and commissioning of fire alarm, gas suppression, VESDA, WLD, CCTV, and boom barrier systems in commercial and industrial facilities.

You will coordinate with clients, consultants, and suppliers, prepare technical submittals and reports, ensure compliance with safety standards, and guide site engineers and technicians.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics or Instrumentation engineering.
• Minimum 35 years of experience in ELV project execution.
• Strong knowledge of Fire Alarm, Gas Suppression, VESDA, WLD, CCTV and Boom Barrier systems.
• Experience in commercial buildings, industrial facilities, data centers or infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Attend project meetings and maintain client relationships.
• Maintain project documentation including submittals, method statements, inspection and commissioning reports.

Role & responsibilities:

1) Project Planning & Execution

• Plan, execute, and manage ELV projects from initiation through completion.
• Define project scope, timelines, objectives, and deliverables.
• Ensure projects are completed within approved timelines and budget.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, contractors, and internal teams for smooth project execution.
• Monitor project progress and prepare regular status reports.

2)Technical Design & Installation

• Develop and review technical drawings, layouts, and system designs for ELV systems.
• Supervise installation, testing, and integration of:

Fire Alarm Systems, Gas Suppression Systems, VESDA Systems

Water Leak Detection (WLD) Systems, Rodent Repellent Systems,

CCTV Surveillance Systems, Boom Barrier Systems

• Ensure installations are carried out as per approved drawings, project specifications, and industry standards.
• Coordinate material procurement and verify technical compliance of supplied equipment.

3)Testing & Commissioning

• Conduct testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and final handover activities.
• Ensure proper functionality and integration of all ELV systems.
• Identify and resolve technical issues during installation and commissioning stages.
• Coordinate inspections and approvals with consultants and clients.

4)Client & Stakeholder Management

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients during project execution.
• Provide technical support and training to clients and end users.
• Attend project meetings and provide technical/project updates.
• Maintain strong professional relationships with clients and stakeholders.

5)Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain project-related documentation including:

Technical submittals, Method statements, Inspection reports

Testing & commissioning reports, As-built drawings, Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality procedures, and statutory regulations.

• Prepare project closure and handover documentation.

6)Team Coordination & Support

• Coordinate with engineering teams, subcontractors, and suppliers for smooth execution.
• Guide and support site engineers and technicians.
• Assist in improving project execution standards and technical processes.

Preferred candidate profile:

• Hands-on experience in installation and commissioning of:

Fire Alarm Systems, Gas Suppression Systems, VESDA Systems,

Water Leak Detection (WLD) Systems, Rodent Repellent Systems,

CCTV Surveillance Systems, Boom Barrier Systems.

• Experience in commercial buildings, industrial facilities, data centers, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and client-handling abilities.
